The Hobbit Pre-Release – There and Back Again

The Hobbit Pre Release was another great Limited Event at Imagine Games, with 12 players from our Magic community joining us for a journey into Middle-earth!

We had our Pre Release on Sunday, 9 August 2026, giving everyone the chance to open the new The Hobbit cards and build their own Sealed deck before the official release of the set.

The new set takes us into the world of Bilbo Baggins, the Dwarves, Goblins, Elves and the many adventures of Middle-earth. Building a deck from a brand-new set is always an exciting challenge, and The Hobbit provided plenty of interesting cards and strategies to explore.

After several rounds of exciting games, Sebastian Dürrschmidt came out on top and won the Pre Release!
