Pro Tour Qualifier 2022 - Magic in Namibia goes international

Imagine Games and the Namibian "Magic" Community are super excited about an upcoming "Magic" Event! On Saturday the 27th of August 2022 we'll be hosting the Pro Tour Qualifier 2022 here in Windhoek as one of only two Magic Outlets if the whole of Africa!

The Pro Tour Qualifier is an important step in a Magic Player's journey to the top of the "Magic the Gathering" Universe and 20 "Magic Players" signed up for the challenge.

It all starts with playing at home with your friends and at your local game store with players from your community. If you like, you can join the Magic competitions at your local game store with in-store events such as Friday Night Magic, PreRelease Events, and Store Championships. If you are doing well and your local store is invited to join, the next step is the Pro Tour Qualifier.

We are proud and excited to be one of the two countries in Africa that are hosting this important event this year. The two winners of the Pro Tour Qualifier will earn an invitation to the "Regional Championships" for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), which will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria in November 2022. During the "Regional Championships", players will face off against top players from across the region for prizes to prove they're one of the best—ready for the "Pro Tour". The best of every Region will then battle against each other at the "Pro Tour" and they compete head-to-head for prizes, prestige, and invitations to the Magic World Championship.

We are excited to announce that we could secure sponsorships for flights as well as accommodation for the two winners!
