Many thanks to all Namibian Magicians who took part in the Duskmourn Pre Release on the 20. September. Duskmourn: An interesting set filled with eerie enchantments and frightening creatures in a House of Horror. However, the Pre-Release within in our small and friendly community wasn't scary after all.

The 15th Imagine Games Store Championships was one of the best attended Store Championships in recent history of our small LGS thanks to a number of new players who wanted to get some experience in proper tournament play.

On the 27.07.2024 Imagine Games hosted the Blomburrow Pre-Release, a truly magical set which takes place in Boomburrow, a plane filled bats, squirrels, frogs, mice, rats, rabbits and racoons. Oh, and otters. And some more.

What a great Pre Release "Outlaws of the Thunder Junction" was: Colourful set, interesting mechanics, great people in the house! Just a great magical event!

Thanks everyone who played at our latest Store Championships - the first Store Championships at our new store and definitely not the last!!! Was an absolute blast and really great atmosphere! Thanks especially to the new youngsters (Joni Graf and Moritz von Wietersheim) who played the Store Championships for the first time and gave the adults some hard thinking with their creative homebrews. 

The "Lost Caverns of Ixalan" Pre-Release on Saturday 11.11.2023 was the first tournament in our new store and the players who attended really had some big fun! 

The fourth Namibian RCQ (Regional Championship Qualifier) took place at Imagine Games on the weekend of July 8/9 2023. It was a busy and exciting double event with a Sealed tournament on Saturday and a Pioneer tournament on Sunday. The two winners were able to secure a place for the European Qualifier in Lille, France in September 2023…

The 11th Imagine Games Store Championships (Sealed) took place on Saturday, 13 May 2023: The Sealed  Event with March of the Machine was super fun, its such an exciting set to build!

The March of the Machine prerelease at Imagine Games was a fun, colorful and exiting sealed event with 17 players attending. MOM is quite a complex set with a lot of strange stuff going on and for some players it was a bit challenging to build a synergetic deck.

The 10th Imagine Games Store Championships (Pioneer) took place on Saturday, 25 February 2023: Quite an exciting event with some nice surprises for the 13 players!

A double-trouble event

Last weekend (10 & 11 December) the second Pro Tour Qualifier took place. Saturday was all about the Pioneer format, while on Sunday two sealed events challenged the skills of our players.

The two winners were able to get a place in the Regional Qualifier in Napoli, Italy in march 2023...

From 18 – 20 November, the two winners of our local Pro Tour Qualifier travelled to Bulgaria to join the Legacy European Championships in Sofia.

We had a great Dominaria United Prerelease tournament on 03 September 2022. With 24 players it was the biggest tournament of Imagine Games so far.

What an exciting, surprising and exhausting tournament it was! 18 players from our community, including 3 Swakopmunders and one player from Otjiwarongo attended our Pro Tour qualifiers on 27 August 2022.

Imagine Games and the Namibian "Magic" Community are super excited about an upcoming "Magic" Event! On Saturday the 27th of August 2022 we'll be hosting the Pro Tour Qualifier 2022 here in Windhoek as one of only two Magic Outlets if the whole of Africa!

The seventh (or so) Imagine Games Store Championships took place on Saturday, 16 July 2022. This time we did a constructed format: Pioneer, which is well adapted by our community. 15 players joined the event and battled for glory and the Nicol Bolas trophy.

Challenger Decks 2022 arrive on April 1, 2022, bringing with them new strategies for players who want competitive Standard format fun!

Challenger Decks consist of 75 cards—a 60-card main deck and a 15-card sideboard—fine-tuned to execute the powerful strategies that each deck specializes in. Ready to play right out of the box so you can get into a game quickly, the decks also include tokens and reference cards to assist in a match.

The Kamigawa Neon Dynasty Pre-Release turned out to be a really cool event with 19 players and 5 rounds to play. According to Johannes this was the best attended Pre-Release since "War of the Spark" (2019).

The Kamigawa Pre-Release is your very first chance to play with the new cards! Prerelease tournaments (or prereleases) are events held one week before the release of an expansion set. The tournament format is sealed deck. Players build decks with cards from the Kamigawa Pre-Release kit (6 x 15 cards). With that card pool players build decks with a minimum of 40 cards. The unused cards are considered their sideboard for the tournament.

Magic returns to fan-favourite setting, Kamigawa, but this time our story picks up 1,200 years after the original adventure. The plane's feudal past has met futuristic modernity, with ninja and samurai now carrying a cyberpunk aesthetic. Get ready for the Multiverse’s first science fiction world – featuring new and known characters.

We had an awesome Store Championship 2021, organized as Crimson Vow Draft with 12 players attending.

On December 4th, 2021 the time has finally come. As the year comes slowly to an end, the Imagine Games Store Championships are taking place at your favourite MTG store!

What a great Kids tournament we had this Saturday. We played a little casual Draft with only Commons and Uncommons from Midnight Hunt and Crimson Vow releases. The children enjoyed it and so did the organizers. Already looking forward to the next Kids Event!

Exciting news! As part of the new Innistrad: Midnight Hunt release, two new ready-to-play Commander decks arrived: "UNDEAD UNLEASHED" is a new zombie-themed Dimir (Black-Blue) Commander deck and "COVEN COUNTERS" a green-white (Selesnya) deck using counters on an army of creatures.
